A TEENAGER suffered injuries to his face, arms and legs during an ‘unprovoked’ assault in Redditch last week.
At about 8pm on April 3, a 15-year-old boy was walking with a friend on Bromsgrove Road towards Redditch United Football Club when he was assaulted by two other men near the Trades and Labour Club.
He was punched and kicked, causing him to sustain injuries to his face, arms and legs.
He did not require hospital treatment.
It is believed the offenders may have followed the victim and his friend from the bus station area of Redditch, where there was a bigger group of males gathered.
After the incident, the offenders left in the direction of Ipsley Street.
There have been no arrests.
One of the offenders is described as Asian, about 17 years old, 6′ 3” of a stocky build with short black hair, he was wearing a grey puffa jacket and blue jeans.
The other offender is described as Asian, about 15-16 years old, between 5′ 10” and 5′ 11”, of a slim build and was wearing a black jacket and blue jeans.
PC Martyn Dudley, based at Redditch police station, said: “We are appealing for any witnesses or information to this assault, which is currently being treated as unprovoked.”
