Historic Redditch firm Heaphys in plea for help after banners vandalised

LONG-standing Redditch menswear retailer Heaphys has had its advertising banners stolen and dumped.

The tailor, which opened its first shop in the town in 1831, put up the banners, two on railings at Church Green West and one at the railway station, to advertise its move from opposite St Stephen’s Church to Evesham Walk.

Two of the three were found vandalised and dumped in a bin while the largest one has yet to be found.

Natalie Corrigan from the company said they believe the banners were stolen last Tuesday evening.

Police are dealing with the incident and any witnesses should call them 101 and quote the crime reference number 22-29439-18.
