PEOPLE in Redditch are being invited out with the Ramblers for their Walk About Festival this summer from May 26 to June 3.
The walking charity is encouraging people to head outdoors to explore their local area and uncover hidden gems on their doorstep.
Expect to explore the hidden secrets of places like Tardebigge, Earlswood Lakes, the source of the River Arrow and Bordesley Meadows.
Chief Executive of the Ramblers, Vanessa Griffiths, said: “Anyone who loves walking will know it’s the best way to discover the world around you.
“It could be an amazing view, a quirky old building tucked down a side-street, or simply a great new walking route.
“We know lots of great spots and wonderful walks and want to share them with others.”
