Police appeal after classic Royal Enfield motorcycle stolen by thieves

POLICE are appealing for information following the theft of two classic motorcycles from Deans Close in Church Hill.

Although one has been recovered, the other remains missing.

One of the missing bikes in a 1959 maroon Royal Enfield 350cc featuring a non-genuine front number plate of 350 BUL.

The motorcycles were stolen sometime between June 7 and June 16.




PC Ian Squires said: “This is a very distinctive model which the owner has had for over 30 years and is of great sentimental value.

“Anyone with information on its whereabouts is asked to phone 101 quoting Crime number 2222/52987/18 or Incident number 0551S 160618.
