World War II hand grenade found in Redditch - bomb disposal unit at the scene

A HAND grenade – with the pin still in – has been found in Lea Croft Road in Crabbs Cross.

Earlier today, Monday, July 2, Police put a 50m cordon around the area after a member of the public found the device.

The Explosive Ordnance Disposal unit has just arrived at the scene – 1.35pm – to deal with the device.
