THE ever-popular annual Green Fair and Lions Fun Day will be returning to Arrow Valley Countryside Park this Sunday, July 8.

Redditch Lions has once again team up with the borough council to bring residents and visitors the event which will run from 11am to 4.30pm.

This year, attractions include live music, pony rides, face painting, children’s activities, birds of prey – both static and aerial displays – smoothie bike, craft and community stalls and much more.

Plus there will be community safety displays and demonstrations from West Mercia Police and Hereford and Worcester Fire and Rescue Service.

In addition there will also be a classic car and motorbike display with many well-known and some more obscure vehicles of yesteryear on show.

Councillor Matt Dormer, Leader of the Council, said: “Year on year the Green Fair gets bigger and better and we’ll be keeping our fingers crossed for some excellent weather to go with it.

“There’s something for everyone to get involved in for a fun, family day out.”

Dave Beech from Redditch Lions, said: “We’re really glad to have teamed up with the borough council again to bring this fantastic event back to Arrow Valley. There’s going to be so much to do, you best get there early so you can enjoy it all!”

There’s still the chance to get involved and anyone who would like a stall at the event should call Val Wilson on 01527 534030 or email [email protected]

Admission and car parking is free for the event.
