CHILDREN at Woodrow First School enjoyed a juggernaut of a day when a massive articulated lorry pulled up on the playground.
A joint effort between Wincanton Logistics and Halfords, the aim was to teach the youngsters about the dangers of traffic in general and HGVs in particular.
“It was absolutely brilliant,” said headteacher Richard Kieran.
“They brought this massive lorry to school and then spent the rest of the day welcoming the children on it and giving them goody bags. The children loved it – a truly magical day.”
