IT’S been another outstanding year for GCSE students at Trinity High School in Redditch.

Pass rates at a grade 4 or above in both in English and Maths were again very strong at 72 per cent and 66 per cent respectively.

Science results were also excellent with almost 60 per cent of students gaining grades 9 to 4.

Headteacher Adrian Ward said: ‘I am absolutely delighted that the students at Trinity have performed so brilliantly again this year.

“This is particularly pleasing in the first year of reformed, more challenging examinations in all subjects.

“I am also really proud that so many of our students gained a grade 9, the highest grade possible.

“As a truly comprehensive school which seeks to serve the entire community, it is important to celebrate the success of all our students and it is wonderful that 100 per cent pass rate was recorded in all faculty areas in the school.

“This year our results at both GCSE and A level demonstrate once again the outstanding education which is provided here at Trinity.

“These results will ensure our students have the best opportunities possible as they move onto the next phase of their lives.”
