THREE sisters are on cloud nine after raising more than £2,500 in a Loop the Loop challenge for St Mary’s Hospice.
Rose Waterhouse, aged six, and sisters Millie, ten, and Grace, 12, completed the death-defying dives, barrel rolls and loops at a special charity day at Wellesbourne airfield last Saturday.
They even managed to rope terrified mum Charlotte into the dare although dad Samuel kept his feet firmly on the ground.
It was all in aid of the hospice where their Nan, Charlotte’s mum, Debbie Logan, is being cared for.
Debbie trained as an occupational therapist in the NHS, and was named Occupational Therapist of the Year not once but twice.
She now has Multiple System Atrophy, a rare degenerative condition for which there is no cure.
“Debbie, is an inspirational, devoted, extraordinary, funny, intelligent human being,” said Charlotte.
“A hands on Mom who along with my Dad taught me and my brother a love and respect for all things living and always encouraged us to exceed our potential.”
It was when they were visiting their Nan that Charlotte’s girls first saw the Loop the Loop challenge advertised.
“Rosie is a natural born thrill seeker and was keen on doing it from the start,” said Charlotte.
“Grace weighs up the pros and cons of everything but she was keen too while Millie was a bit unsure which placed me on standby.”
The Wythall family paid for the challenge themselves so every penny they raised would go to St Mary’s.
