REDDITCH’s Emmanuel Church at the Ecumenical Centre has appointed Sharon Forrest to the new position of hospitality and outreach worker.
Sharon has worked in the town and volunteered as a Chaplain in the Kingfisher Centre for the past six years.
She said: “I have received a very warm welcome from the staff of Emmanuel Church and volunteers of the coffee shop.
“The centre is a unique large community indoor space and I look forward to welcoming more charities who would like to use the kitchen, hall and rooms for their own needs.
“The coffee lounge has a viewing area that overlooks the square in the Kingfisher Centre but is away from the hustle and bustle but there is easy access via a lift.”
The café is open from 10am to 12noon weekdays with lunch on Friday from 12noon to 1pm.
