GYMOPHOBICS in Redditch has volunteered to work with the town’s Food Bank on a monthly basis.
The aim is to help local people in crisis by buying items from the ‘low stock’ list placing them in a collection point on the exit to the ladies-only gym located in Mills Court, Albert Street near Redditch town centre.
The initiative starts this month with a Harvest Festival Collection of long life fruit juice and tinned fruit and vegetables building towards a Children in Need Collection of toothbrushes, toothpaste and jam, honey, peanut butter spreads in October.
