A NEW eco initiative has been launched in Redditch by the campaign group ‘Rubbish Friends’.
Press Pause on Plastic Straws is a nationwide drive aimed at persuading businesses – and their customers – to say no to plastic straws and yes to paper or re-reusable ones.
Locally the campaign has already had great success in neighbouring Stratford-upon-Avon and in Redditch Rubbish Friends have joined with Eco N Wise and Rees Cafe in Church Road to push the green message.
Any business that would like to get onboard should contact Eco N Wise on Facebook for a window sticker and poster to display.
