Thomas Brothers mark the centenary of the end of WW1 with poppy display

A FUNERAL directors in Redditch has marked the centenary of the end of the First World War with a poppy display outside its shop.

Thomas Brothers, on Evesham Road, has always maintained a close connection with The Royal British Legion and its members and the veterans also voluntarily attend the funerals of ex-servicemen and women.

A spokesperson for Thomas Brothers said: “We wanted to commemorate the 100th anniversary year and its significance with a display to acknowledge and remember the lives that were lost.”

Mark, Ben and Ceri Thomas who run the family business are all former Royal Marines and understand how important this year is.




They are actively involved every year with the Poppy Appeal and Remembrance Sunday events.
