A CHEQUE for £2,000 was presented to the Royal British Legion at Redditch Golf Club.
The money was raised by this year’s junior captain Mackenzie Butler, who organised several fund-raising activities.
As usual, the golf club held a Junior Closing Supper for its end of the junior golf season.
More than 90 people attended the event including 94-year-old Mrs Charlotte Webb MBE, who spoke about her time at Bletchley Park and its growth into a world-class heritage attraction.
Members from Redditch Royal British Legion also paid their respects to the people who lost their lives during and since the First World War.
