A SPECIAL Christmas event managed to raise £500 for an Alcester dementia charity recently.
Fundraisers at Hillers Farm Shop hosted a raffle and a ‘silent auction’ in aid of Alcester Dementia Care.
Fundraiser Harry Dyke, who donated some of the prizes himself, said: “It was a group effort really.
“I must thank my father for giving us the idea in the first place.
“I would urge everyone to get out during the rest of the festive period and help raise money in anyway they can.”
