THE old year ended on a sour note at a Matchborough home after thieves stole a crate of 24 bottles of beer from a garden shed over Sunday night, December 30.
The thieves also took a grey coloured Carrera mountain bike in the raid at the Eathorpe Close property.
Elsewhere in Redditch a Carrera Vengeance bike was stolen from the car park at the Trafford retail park between 4.45pm and 7pm on Friday, December 28.
On the same day in Patch Lane, Oakenshaw, an Easy Rider JC 110-9 motorcycle was stolen without the keys from outside a home. The bike has a registration number ending in TGE.
