BIG-HEARTED charity Marie Curie UK is a bumper sum better off after the fundraising efforts of Redditch Ladies Circle Deb Smith following their Santa Sleigh Christmas Collection back in December.
“Thanks to the wonderful residents of Studley over the two nights we was able to raise a amazing £912.39,” said Helen Gough from the Ladies Circle.
“We want to say a massive thank you to everyone who gave so generously.
“Marie Curie is an amazing charity that does so much, but without the support of the general public that wouldn’t be possible.”
She added: “We would also like to say a massive thank you to all our volunteers that gave up their time to come out and help over the two nights and our hosts who helped get us all warm and dry after, without them we wouldn’t of been able to do it.”
Redditch Ladies Circle is the ideal place for women aged 18 to 45 to make new friends, have loads of fun and do some amazing work for charity.
“If you stick with Ladies Circle you’ll have friends for life,” said Helen.
