Quality stamps and postcards set to go under the hammer at annual auction

QUALITY stamps and postcards are set to go under the hammer at the annual auction organised by Redditch Philatelic Society.

It takes place on Saturday, March 23, at The Bridge Church Community Hall (formerly St Luke’s Memorial Hall), Evesham Road, Headless Cross, Redditch.

There will be more than 490 lots of collectible stamps, covers, albums, accessories, postcards, philatelic literature and ‘glory’ boxes all for sale.

Some of the most popular lots are sure to be postcards of Redditch which always attract keen bidding and collectors of all types of stamps, postal history and postcards are bound to find something of interest.




There will also be a strong GB and Commonwealth stamp section and a good selection of collections in albums.

Viewing runs from 10.30am until 12.45pm with the auction starting at 1pm prompt.

Redditch Philatelic Society meets on the first and third Thursday each month from September to June ar The Bridge Church Community Hall at 7.30pm. Visitors welcome.
