ABBEYWOOD First School in Redditch ended the spring term with an eco friendly week in time for Easter.

The school’s pupil-led eco council went on a litter pick around the grounds as part of the Great British Spring Clean and then took part in ‘The Big Switch off’ where they attempted to use as little energy and electricity as was safely possible.

Head of School Deeena Frost said: “This is all part of our term’s learning where ‘Abbeywood Goes Global’ and in our strive to renew our Green Flag status as an Eco Friendly School.”
