A COFFEE coffee morning in aid of the Alcester Royal British Legion Poppy appeal is to be held at St Nicholas Church House on Saturday, May 4.
Cakes and beverages will be served from 10.30am until 12.30pm and although entrance is free all donations would be most welcome for the refreshments.
There will also be a raffle and a Poppy Appeal stall.
Alcester Poppy appeal organiser Dave Malin said: “Our current total for the area is a record breaking £17,600.
“The coffee morning will be our last event before this year’s appeal finishes, so the closer we get to £18,000 the more impressive the total will be!”
