Eyes down for the Redditch Carers Careline quiz night in Lodge Park

Redditch Editorial 13th May, 2019   0

LODGE Park Social Club has kindly opened its doors to local charity Carers Careline so they can host a fundraising quiz.

“Redditch Quizmaster Craig had generously offered to run a quiz for us,’ said Natalie Carney from Carers Careline.

“Problem was – we needed somewhere to hold it!

“We tried everywhere and thought we’d have to cancel! Luckily Lodge Park Social Club in Lodge Pool Drive stepped in.

“They’re really happy for us to have it there and are even going to promote it – so we’re hoping loads of people will come along and support us!”

The quiz is on Friday, May 24, from 7pm to 9pm.

Entry is £2 per person.

“There will be raffles, prizes and plenty of fun so get a quiz team together and come along,” said Natalie.

“Help us raise money to support Redditch people who are caring for family, friends and neighbours at home.

“We’re hoping that lots of carers and the people they look after will be able to make it and get a bit of a break together.”

For more information about the quiz or about the services Carers Careline offer, call 01527 66177 or email [email protected] or visit their office in the Ecumenical Centre between 10am and 12noon, Monday to Thursday.

Carers Careline is supported by Community Lottery and Health Lottery Funding as well as other trusts and foundations.
