TWO community organisations in Redditch have been awarded almost £500,000 in National Lottery funding this quarter.
Redditch Nightstop, which has received £235,366, provides a drop-in service for young people and supports them with emergency accommodation, housing, food and health services.
Nightstop manager Susan Sadler said: “Our funding doesn’t start until October but we are already celebrating.
“It’s amazing because we know the projects we deliver will continue in the community.”
£256,944 has gone to Britten Street Hub CIC, which supports vulnerable people who have complex issues, promotes positive mental health and also wellbeing.
Manager Elaine Grant said: “We’re really happy we can support children and young people and will carry on our good work in the future.”
