POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a man was seriously assaulted in a flat in Redditch.
The incident happened around 4.45pm on Wednesday evening, August 14 at a flat in in Fownhope Close, Winyates.
A man in his 40s was taken to hospital with serious injuries.
Police say two men have been arrested and are in custody.
Detective Sergeant Kelle Westwood from Redditch CID said: “Enquiries are very much in the early stages and we are working to establish the circumstances of the incident.
“If anyone was in Fownhope Close around the time of the incident we would urge them to get in contact with police.”
