CHILDREN’S author Steve Cole took a journey through space last Friday, August 16, as he touched down to give a talk on some of his bestselling books to youngsters at Redditch Library.
Steve, author of firm favourites ‘Astrosaurs’, ‘Cows in Action’, ‘Astrosaurs Academy’ and ‘The Slime Squad’ gave a reading and also sang some of his own fun songs, including one entitled ‘Aliens Stink’.
His visit was part of a host of events happening across libraries in Worcestershire this summer.
The popular author said: “I love doing these events because I love inspiring people’s own stories, it’s just great and I love the enthusiasm from the children.
“People can expect some songs at my events as well as embarrassing stories from my childhood.”
