A BOAT club has set sail once again in Redditch after talks between the budding sailors, Redditch Borough Council and Rubicon Leisure.
At the weekend Worcester Model Boat Club returned to Arrow Valley Lake for the first time in ten years.
Negotiations overs timings and prices were successful and the water were alive with colourful miniature vessels once again.
The model boat club’s return was officially opened by Coun Dormer and Redditch Mayor Roger Bennett.
“It was an honour to be at the launch of the model boat club, at Arrow Valley this weekend,” Said Coun Dormer.
“We are committed to unlocking Redditch – and this includes its stretches of water too!”
