CHILDREN from The Vaynor First School were invited to join with the residents of Brambles Residential Care Home to help with their Halloween preparations.
They combined their creative talents and carving skills to produce a range of spectacularly designed pumpkins to be displayed as part of the Brambles Halloween celebrations.
Headteacher Sallyanne Dunstan said: “It was a pleasure to watch the sheer enjoyment on the faces of all involved, with both generations working alongside each other, laughing together and sharing their memories.
“All involved took great pride in their achievements and valued the opportunity and experience of working in partnership together.”
