PLANS to open a brand new accessible trail in the Heart of England Forest at Spernal, near Studley this Saturday, November 16 from 10am to 2pm have been CANCELLED.
At a little over 1km long the trail is designed specifically to make it easier for wheelchair and pushchair users to get out and into the Forest.
However after all the rain of the past week, and yesterday (Thursday) in particular, just reaching the entrance to the site, off the road to Great Alne and just before the River Arrow, is problematic.
