FEARS of parking wars on Studley High Street have resulted in Parish Councillors asking for clarification on a planning application.
The application, for a dropped kerb, came from 77, Nailers Cottage, however Councillor Brian Crow pointed out that the road already had a parking bay for two cars outside it.
He feared a dropped kerb could cause issues if the homeowner found their drive blocked by a legally parked car.
“It’s in conflict with parking bays put in by Warwickshire Highways Authority,” he said.
Coun Brian Dixon added: “Parking in the High Street is at a premium and we should ask for some clarification on this,” which was unanimously agreed by the council.
