CHRISTMAS hampers put together by St Bede’s Catholic Middle School will be donated to rough sleepers over the festive period.
The hampers are stuffed with food, clothing and blankets.
Pupils and teachers delivered them to parishioners at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church who will now distribute them to homeless people across Redditch.
Rose Osborne, who led the project and will be retiring after Christmas, said: “I’m looking forward to my retirement but I will be extremely sad to leave my second family as I’ve been very happy here for 11 years.”
