The 19-year-old was killed in 2017 after a woman crashed into his car along the A4023 Coventry Highway in Redditch.
She was later jailed after being found guilty of careless driving.
Bob, who is a close family friend of the Sellers, presented the cheque at the ‘Brake Ball’ in Sutton Coldfield last month.
A spokesperson from the golf club said: “Our members and especially our captains should be very proud.
“The money has set a new record for the amount raised for a captain’s charity in one year.
“Thank you to all who donated.”
