One number - Alcester volunteers ready to help in coronavirus crisis

Redditch Editorial 22nd Mar, 2020   0

IN response to the COVID-19 outbreak, Alcester, like other towns and villages, is co-ordinating its community response to the ongoing situation.

Around 140 volunteer responders have come forward and registered to support this co-ordinated local effort.

Any person living in Alcester, Kinwarton, Arrow and Weethley or Great Alne can call 07707 598379 if they need practical help.

This could include picking up shopping, posting mail, dog walking or just a friendly phone call.

Alternatively anyone can send an email to [email protected] and someone will get back to them.

This is a community response and not a replacement for 999 or 111.
