REDDITCH Nightstop has received a boost thanks to the generosity of town centre store TK Maxx.

When the lockdown was announced the shop, on the upper floor of the Kingfisher Shopping Centre was told to dispose of all its food and drink.

Among the recipients was the Redditch charity dedicated to preventing homelessness in you people.

“They very kindly thought of us as they have supported us in the past,” said Sharon Holtom from Nightstop.

“Thanks to their donation we have been able to use these items to do food parcels for our clients and also the local food bank so they can continue to support the families that need it the most.

“We want to give a big thank you to TK Maxx and all the staff who helped us pack it all up at TK Maxx.

“They were given just a few hours to contact charities that could use the goods and managed to support many local people.

“They also donated Easter Wggs to the children’s hospital which was lovely.”
