JULY 4 can’t come soon enough for one Redditch hair salon – Cutting Edge in Church Hill.
Owner Zoe Gardner has spent lockdown caring for her elderly mum and keeping an eye on a vulnerable shielding neighbour and is now looking to incorporating the day job into her routine.
“Because we work so closely with customers you’d need two metre arms for what we do,” she said.
“However with the easy of the lockdown I’m really chuffed with the measures we’ve put in place to safeguard both the staff and the customers,” she said.
“Customers haven’t stopped ringing us either, they’re just so happy to talk to us and I think it will give everyone a lift when hair salons and barbers can re-open.”
