A MAN has been discharged from the Alexandra Hospital after beating coronavirus.
NHS staff gave Michael a huge round of applause as he walked out of the hospital for the first time in 29 days.
The Covid-19 patient follows in the footsteps of Leighton Webster who left intensive care recently after a two month stay.
The chief executive of Worcestershire Acute Hospitals NHS Trust commented on the man’s recovery by tweeting: “Inspiring, humbling and wonderful.”
