VOCALISE Performing Arts Academy celebrated its ten-year anniversary by revisiting special moments over the decade.
The Redditch music group marked the milestone by releasing a YouTube video showing members in various performances.
Members had planned to mark the occasion with a show at the Palace Theatre but plans fell through due to the coronavirus lockdown.
But rehearsals for The Wizard of Oz have not gone to waste as the Palace has promised the show will go on when it is safe to do so.
Musical director Tracy Wright decided they could not reach such an important milestone without celebrating everything they had achieved in the last ten years.
She invited members to revisit a song they had learned many years ago and asked them to send individual video recordings and messages to create a birthday video for everyone to enjoy.
Tracy said: “I would like to thank everyone who contributed to this special video.
“I would also like to say a special thank you to assistant creative director Chloe Heath, as well as our wonderful tutors who have made such a positive impact, backstage crew, technicians, chaperones, parents, carers, my husband and ‘Friends of Vocalize’.”
