Trinity High School appeal brings in bumper donations

Redditch Editorial 10th Jan, 2021   0

FOR Christmas Jumper Day in December, students and staff at Trinity High School were asked to bring in donations for the Batchley Support Group food bank.

The response was huge, to the extent that the school was pleased to have the BSG come onto the site to collect all the items including non-perishable food, toiletries, Christmas treats and drinks.

“We were unsure of the response for this food drive, but it has been a great success, yet again we are seeing the generosity of the Trinity community, giving to those who find themselves in challenging times, thank you to all who donated,” said Mr Ward.

Rick Horton from Batchley Support Group said: “Please pass on our thanks from us and from those that we support in Redditch for the fantastic generosity of your children, parents and staff.

“The effort made by you all will help many of those under pressure at this difficult time.”
