Church Hill Big Local steps up to encourage the community to look after each other

CHURCH Hill Big Local is stepping up to encourage the community to look after each other in the lockdown by staying home and staying safe.

From the start the big-hearted group has installed signs and banners in various places throughout the area during the majority of the pandemic.

The first ones thanked NHS staff, key workers and volunteers whilst promoting the stay safe message.

Over Christmas these were replaced these with a number of festive signs and banners as it was felt some festive cheer was much-needed.

The latest installations are sharing the current government message and encouraging the community to look after each other by staying home and staying safe.

“If everyone can follow the important message, then together we can reduce the spread of this virus, help protect those most vulnerable and those key workers and volunteers who are providing vital services throughout this,” said community co-ordinator Chris Thomas.
