THE Towns Fund deal offers a world of opportunities for Redditch.
If I were to choose my town centre priorities, yes they’d include the bottom of Unicorn Hill / railway station / bus station interchange.
Demolishing the library? Well, it’s not the most attractive building and I’d also want to sort out the mess behind it, that no man’s land where the back of the town hall meets Debenhams meets the library and post office.
The back of Alcester Street is also an eyesore.
Somehow you think the top amount of £25million will never be enough.
