UPMARKET grocery store SimplyFresh is set to open its doors in the Kingfisher Shopping Centre – in the former Marks & Spencer food hall.
The shop will form part of the newly curated department store, which features the centre’s brand new Next and extended Muffin Break, forming a union of high-street fashion, food and convenience elements within a single unit.
SimplyFresh will provide the Redditch community with a combination of quality, authentic grocery items and prepared foods, with customer service at the heart of its offering.
It will offer a range of local and best of British products, including organic, as well as a market offering deli options.
Kingfisher Centre manager Ken Williams said: “We are so excited to bring this unique convenient food offering to our guests, which will include quality, local and organic goods.
“SimplyFresh will provide a new dynamic and add to our offering and I have no doubt it will be a huge hit with our guests and complement our existing retailer mix.
“The new department store will enable shoppers to move freely between the stores, allowing them to browse the different brands at their convenience.
“Whilst this is an exciting time for the centre, we urge guests to remember to follow the ‘hands, face, space’ guidance and to avoid shopping during our busy periods by checking our real time traffic light system on our website and social channels.”
Kash Khera, from SimplyFresh, added: “We are delighted to soon be opening our SimplyFresh store at Kingfisher, providing the people of Redditch with fresh, convenient produce.
“Kingfisher is a fantastic location, situated in the heart of a vibrant town and we can’t wait to be a part of the community.”
