Free advice offer to help cut energy bills of Redditch residents

REDDITCH residents concerned about paying their energy bills are being encouraged to contact their local free energy advice service.

Expert energy saving advice is available to everyone in the borough, with specialist advisers on call with guidance on how best to cut energy bills as well as the various funding options for energy-saving home improvements.

“We’ve all heard how energy costs are on the rise. For anyone who’s concerned about their bills, I hope you’ll get in touch with our free local energy advice service. It could help you save money,” said Councillor David Thain, the borough council’s portfolio holder for finance.

Energy advice topics range from help to find the best deals and energy tariffs, to making best use of heating controls and energy-efficient home improvements such as better insulation and boilers – including finding any financial help that may be available.




Council Leader Matt Dormer said: “With a bit of advice from the experts you can make sure you’re not missing any tricks that could be cutting your bills – and your carbon footprint too.”

The authority’s energy advice service is delivered by YES Energy Solutions and it is available on freephone 03301 355 321 from 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday.
