LOCAL dance group, the White Hart Morris Men are to shortly commence their winter practise season – and are appealing for new members.
After a surprisingly busy last few months they will be returning to indoor rehearsals at the Holly Bush in Alcester’s Henley Street.
The group meet from 8pm on most Monday nights between now and the end of April.
In 2022 they will be celebrating their 50th anniversary after starting at the White Hart pub in Headless Cross, Redditch back in 1972 before moving to Alcester in 2005.
They would welcome any new members who may have an interest in Morris or folk dance, or someone who wants to help keep an old tradition alive.
