A TEAM of 11 staff from Studley St Marys (C of E) Academy – decked out in blue tutus – took part in the Pretty Muddy 5k Obstacle Run last Saturday, October 16.
Held at Worcester racecourse and in aid of Cancer Research, the team has raised an amazing £1,850 with the total steadily increasing.
Staff hit upon the idea of doing the challenge back in February as a useful team building exercise in the wake of the pandemic and subsequent lockdowns.
Many had been working in ‘bubbles’ and with communal areas closed it was a chance to get together, have some fun and raise much needed funds for a good cause.
A team member said: “We are so proud of what we have achieved.”
