Astwood Bank Royal British Legion readies for Remembrance

OLD soldiers and members of the Royal British Legion will once again be taking part in the Remembrance Sunday parade in Astwood Bank this Sunday, November 14.

The parade will assemble at 9.30am at St Matthias & St George’s Church for a service at 10am in the church.

At 10.30am the parade, led by 216 Redditch Squadron ATC will march to the War Memorial on Evesham Road for wreath laying and the two minutes Silence when names of the fallen will be read out.

A short service will then follow.




The Salute will be taken by Captain Redshaw before the parade returns to Church Road for dismissal.

Parking will be available at Astwood Bank First School in Church Road.


To ensure the risk of Covid-19 is kept to a minimum for people the service will be available to follow online.
