GREAT Redditch charity Carers Careline last week held their first proper annual general meeting since Covid-19 struck.
This community charity offers services to those who care for others to enable them to stay in their own homes. They provide regular phone calls and check-ins by email, help filling in benefit applications and a drop-In facility to provide a cup of tea and someone to talk to.
There’s also a monthly newsletter and lots of support groups including creative writing workshop, crafts, a men’s group and more.
A Christmas hamper donated by Morrison’s to raffle and a buffet lunch rounded off the day.
Their next event is the Carers Careline Christmas coffee morning in the Ecumenical Centre off Evesham Walk on Tuesday, December 14 from 10.30am. All will be welcome.
