INTREPID Sophia Edwards has paddled, walked and pedalled her way around the region in the county-wide ShireHike Challenge.
And in the process the six-year-old Beaver at 1st Birchensale Beavers earned herself the highly coveted Diamond ShireHike Challenge Badge.
Beaver Leader Sarah Theiss said the challenge involved hiking, cycling and paddling different routes across Herefordshire, Worcestershire, Gloucestershire, Birmingham, Coventry and Shropshire.
The determined young lady managed to complete the entire course in just three months, in total walking 69.2 miles, cycling 31 miles and paddling for two hours.
“As a colony we are extremely proud of her achievements as this is an tough challenge and she was the first to complete it in our group,” said Sarah.
