A CHILDREN’S author and illustrator has donated a number of his books to Matchborough First School.
Simon Jasper Barugh’s timing was perfect because the school was in the process of revamping its school library.
He donated after Simon contacted Redditch’s Morrisons’ community champion Bev Allington to ask her if she knew of anywhere which would benefit from the 20 books.
She said: “Reading is so important and allows your mind to go into a world of imagination and I am so grateful for the random act of kindness Simon has shown.”
