THE BUS forum organised by Redditch Labour Group at the town hall on Friday, August 5, has had to be postponed, due to there being two by-elections taking place next month.
Regulations state no political activity can be carried out in council buildings in the run up to a poll.
The by-election takes place on September 1 and Redditch Labour Group expressed its frustration as proposed changes by Diamond Bus to services in the borough come into force before that on August 28.
The party said in a statement: “Sadly this is out of our hands and it would not be possible to arrange another meeting until after September 1.
“Please keep sending in your questions and views, through our website as we can make sure they get to the right people at Worcestershire County Council and Diamond Bus.”
