REDDITCH Police have arrested and charged a man after a woman was sexually assaulted at Arrow Valley Lake.
Officers were deployed yesterday morning (Sunday August 21) after the victim reported having been inappropriately touched by a man while walking around the lake.
Inspector Richard Field from West Mercia Police said in a tweet: “The whole team dropped everything to assist, leading to an early arrest.”
He later confirmed a 22-year-old man was charged with sexual touching and bailed to attend court.
He added: “Offences like this are rare but do occur. I’m proud of the team work to get to this point. Sexual violence against women will not be tolerated.”
