A FAMILY-run Redditch firm has won the 2021/22 Grounds Maintenance of the Year prize for Central England at the Prestige Awards.
Penns Ground Maintenance won the award at a ceremony at Sutton Coldfields Moor Hall Hotel and Spa earlier this year.
The family-run business from Ham Green was established back in 2018 but has since grown considerably to now have twelve employees.
They provide grounds maintenance and landscaping services across the Midlands, working on multiple schools across Redditch as well as several local authorities, colleges and housing associations in the region.
Their services include mowing and strimming, hedge cutting, sports pitch marking and play area maintenance.
The Prestige Awards was launched to celebrate businesses and individuals that offer consistently excellent products or services.
Operations manager Rhi Green said: “We are absolutely ecstatic to receive this award.
“Being a family-run business makes this award all the more special and the fact that we only started back in 2018 shows just how far we have come in such a short space of time.
“We are all extremely happy with the award and are excited to see where the business goes in the future.”
