THE official opening of the brand new Specsavers in Redditch Sainsbury’s on Monday (5 September) was a real family affair.
The three store directors, who also part-own and run the Redditch town centre store, were joined by their families and friends to mark the occasion.
Following the official ribbon cutting at the superstore on the Alvechurch Highway, customers were shown round the eye-catching store while younger visitors were entertained by a face painter.
James Worton, Specsavers Redditch Sainsbury’s store director said: “We were so touched to be joined by so many friendly faces to mark our new venture.
“We’ve had lots of lovely feedback already on the new store; the layout, frames and facilities and can’t wait to share it with more visitors.
“A big thank you to everyone who has supported us over the past few months – we now look forward to offering the very best in optical and audiology care in this, our sister store.”
Alongside their commitment to eye and hear care the team at Specsavers Redditch Sainsbury’s are also passionate about the local community, supporting people and places.
This includes raising funds for the local foodbank, with the directors matching any funds donated from visitors to the store over the month of September.
